From Brokenness to Blessing

“To grant to those who mourn in Zion—to give them a beautiful headdress instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, the garment of praise instead of a spirit of heaviness; that they may be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.” Isaiah 61:3 (ESV)

Life is filled with seasons that can leave us feeling broken. We experience disappointments, heartbreaks, failures, betrayal, sickness, financial struggles, and the loss of loved ones. In those moments, it is easy to believe that our brokenness defines us or that God has forgotten us.
